So we decided to check what are the top Courses and Colleges in Kerala based on 2015 allotment results. - College of Engineering, Trivandrum (TVE)
- Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur (TCR)
- TKM College of Engineering, Kollam (TKM),
- Rajiv Gandhi Institure of Technology, Kottayam (KTE)
- MES College of Engineering, Mallapuram (MES)
- Top 5 courses in Kerala:
- Architecture (AR),
- Mechanical (ME)
- Computer Science (CS)
- Electronics and Communications (EC)
- Electrical and Electronics (EE)
- Seats for Architecture course fills up quick. It could be due to limited seats in established colleges.
- Students also select Architecture courses in newer Self Financing Colleges like NVR, IER, TER etc.
- Even though majority of the job offers in campus placement are in IT/Software, IT course does not appear in the top list. It is interesting to observe that IT courses are not offered by established colleges like TVE, TCR or TKM.
