Parinama Insights has launched KEAM 2012 Mock Counselling Tool for both Engineering and Medical aspirants. You can use this tool to identify best course options for CAP. The engineering results are yet to be published. Online Allotment for KEAM 2012 was supposed to be started from June 14. It has been delayed because of some problems with Private Medical Colleges. We are expecting the CAP to be started very soon.
According to KEAM 2012 prospectus (page 39 section 11.8.1) the allotment will be first performed for State Merit and then only for Reservation Categories. This makes it essential that we understand closing ranks for State Merit along with reservation categories. You will get seat only if you have entered in the CAP tool. You can use KEAM 2012 Mock Counselling Tool to indnetiy options for both SM and reservation category.
For example Tintumon has a general rank of 6500. He has EZ reservation. He logs into Mock Counselling tool see what all college/courses he can apply. You can choose courses for Engg or Medical stream. It is always good to choose -ALL course option to see all the courses. Below is how Tintumon entered his details.
Tintumon can now see all possible options for both SM and EZ quota. In this way he will not miss any good college/course he could he got with his SM. For those who do have any reservation category, please choose Category as SM. Use this Mock Counselling tool and let us know if you found it useful.
